A Great Place for Special Occasions or Meetings

The Battery Park City Parks offers a flexible community space for rent to host children’s and teen’s birthday parties, private events, business meetings and training seminars, lectures, family gatherings, club meetings, performance rehearsals and other occasions for up to 200 people.

This spacious venue (2000 sq. ft.), is a flexible space with street level access and over 350 square feet of windows that provide natural light and views of Nelson A. Rockefeller Park and the Hudson River. The wheelchair accessible space has attractive restrooms as well as furniture for adults and children. A screening room with blackout curtains may be used for smaller talks or training, to show a movie or illustrated lecture, or as a more intimate space that complements the large open room. The screening area seats up to 40. In addition to renting the space, play equipment suitable for up to 30 preschool and early elementary school-age children is available for an additional fee.

6 River Terrace can be rented starting at $600; this includes an event coordinator on site throughout your event as a liaison to caterers and to assist with furniture placement and trash removal. Please note that a security deposit and single-day certificate of liability insurance are both required for all rentals. Please see Policies and Procedures and FAQs for full details.
