Gardening Club
An event every week that begins at 4:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until October 25, 2016
Event Details
For ages 6-10. Discover the fun and rewards of gardening with other children. Enjoy planting flowers, vegetables and herbs, watering, weeding, and composting.
Children share plots with partners, and work together to grow a beautiful garden the “green” way; without toxic chemicals or fertilizers. In addition, children learn about beneficial insects, pollinators, compost, and more. In addition, the program includes simple cooking projects using the garden harvest (salads, pickles, pesto, and more).
Gardening Club runs for six months (three series of two months each). Cost is $130 for two-month or receive a discount when you sign up for the full six-months.
