Friday Night Family Swim

Make Fridays your night for family swimming! Parents and kids can free-swim together all year round  in our indoor half-Olympic sized pool! Bring your own towel, lock and swim cap and we’ll provide you with a fun array of pool toys, noodles and floaties. Dedicated lanes are also available for lap swimmers. Free for CCSHS Members. If you’re not a Community Center member yet, Day Passes are available for only $15 for adults and $10 for youth, students and seniors.

Public Art Tour

Advanced Beginner Swimming Lessons for Ages 6-Adult

This ten-class series is held on each Sunday from September 28 through December 7, 2014, 1:45-2:30pm. This class is open to swimmers ages 6 and up. Practice basic strokes and learn important new skills such as butterfly kicking on back and front, freestyle touch-ups and the backstroke. All swimmers will need to bring a towel, a swim cap, goggles and a lock. Beginner Group Swimming Lessons

The Community Center at Stuyvesant High School is offering this ten-class series, held on Sundays from September 28 through December 7, 2014, from 1:00pm to 1:45pm. Get comfortable getting in the water and learn important basic skills such as breathing, kicking on front and back, elementary treading and freestyle. Swimmers will need to bring a towel, goggles and a lock. Ages 6 – Adult.
