Between Warren Street and Murray Street, east of River Terrace and west of North End Avenue.
Designed by landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh, the two-acre Teardrop Park brings a little of the dramatic Hudson River Valley to Battery Park City. Teardrop features a magnificent “Ice Wall,” artwork by Ann Hamilton and Michael Mercil, a children’s slide, sand boxes, water play, a rocky reading area, places to “rock hop,” naturalistic plantings, and much, much more for park lovers to discover. Restrooms are located at the northwest corner of the Solaire Building. BPCPC’s Wednesdays in Teardrop program is highly popular from May through October and features fun lawn games and creative art projects for school age children. CLICK HERE TO SEE WHAT’S IN BLOOM
