Young Sprouts Gardening
Young Sprouts is BPCP’s gardening program for children 3 to 5 years old and an accompanying adult. Among the simple gardening projects appropriate for preschoolers are: planting seeds, watering the garden, and tasting fresh greens and vegetables – all organically grown.
Soccer for Children (Ages 5-7)
Kickstart your afternoon with soccer! Learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting and overall gameplay. Meet new friends while engaging in games and drills focused on balance, coordination, movement, and awareness.
Chess Lessons for Children* PAWNS
Classes designed for children to experience chess at their level: Beginners (Pawns) for kids to learn how the pieces move, intermediate (Knights) for kids who know how the pieces move (this class introduces strategy and tactics for playing with all of the pieces at all stages of the game-opening, middle and end), and advanced (Rooks) for kids with match experience.

Discover the fun and rewards of planting flowers, vegetables and herbs, plus watering, weeding, and
composting. Learn BPC Parks’ green practices first-hand. For ages 6-10.

Preschool Play
Play is the cornerstone of early childhood development. Meet other toddlers, parents, and caregivers for interactive play on a grassy lawn. Sing, dance, shake, and hear stories too! Carefully selected play equipment and toys are provided – plus water play!
